Housing Corporation - Purchases Theta-Theta’s -First Chapter House!
The Chapter recently moved into a chapter house at 321 E. 13th Ave. After decades of leasing houses, the Housing Corporation purchased the property. The 2,220 square foot house sleeps 8-9 actives. It is located at the end of the future site of sorority row. The chapter, for the first time in its nearly 43-year history, owns a house and controls its destiny at WKU. The Housing Corporation hired a local contractor to renovate the interior, adding a room, a shower and landing downstairs. Actives and local alumni spent two weeks cleaning, painting and moving in. The house features a pool table, flat screen TV, as well as a refrigerator and microwave donated by alumni Scott Harris, and a couch, chairs and ottoman donated by friends of local alumni.
